While reading 1 Samuel chapter 17, I could not help but think of where we are today as Christians. I saw The army of God standing on the sidelines as the champion of the Philistines mocked and cursed God and His army. It seems to a large extent there are many who are satisfied in staying on the sidelines as a lost world is dying all around us. I pray that everyone would take a moment to analyze where they stand spiritually. Are you on the sidelines or in the battle. I would hope that we might remember David's question, "Is there not a cause".
